Acoustic Test Data SelectorPosted on 2016-09-15
Fire and Acoustic Seals Ltd are proud to unveil our favourite part of the new website, the Acoustic Test Data Selector. With a huge portfolio of test evidence including the largest collection of acoustic data for Premdor, we wanted to share all of our research with you in order to help you make the best choices to fulfil your acoustic requirements.
All of our testing has been carried out to the requirements of BS EN ISO 140: 3: 1995 and follow the procedure below:
- A specimen is placed between a sound transmitting room and a sound receiving room.
- Sound is then generated over a number of different frequencies in the transmitting room.
- The sound passes through the specimen and the sound pressure levels are measured in the receiving room.
- The received sound pressure levels are then deducted from the transmitted sound pressure levels allowing us to determine the sound pressure loss of each tested frequency.
With our Acoustic Test Data Selector, all of this information is at your fingertips, enabling you to find what you need in a way that suits you.
Ideal if you already know what you are looking for, you can search by:
