Comprises of a PVC-u holder with a graphite based intumescent material with two elastomeric blades.
Specially designed to be flexible, the thin blades enhance the smoke performance and minimize the opening and closing forces when operating the doors.

Combines the outstanding fire performance of the Therm-A-Flex material with maximum smoke control and acoustic sealing.
Immune to degradation by carbon dioxide.
A great alternative to Therm-A-Stop, which has the same graphite intumescent material but offers fire and smoke protection only.

Ideal for timber doorsets with steel frames, where conventional intumescent foam compounds break down.

Acoustic rating
Acoustically tested when used together with either a Sealmaster threshold seal or suitable automatic door bottom drop seal on a nominal thickness 44-45mm door leaf, it shows an acoustic performance in the range of RW= 29-33db.

Avoid extremes of temperature and humidity, ideally store between 15 and 23°C

Can different brands of door seals be combined on a doorset?
No, all door edge seals used on a doorset must be of the same manufacturer and in accordance to the doorset specification.
Can door seals be cut and fitted up against each other?
Yes, a majority of our seals are 2.1m as standard and can be cut to the required length, where the installation is longer they can be butted against eachother. Longer lengths are available upon request.
Can seals be retrospectively fitted to the edge of a door?
Yes. We recommend that the door manufacturer is consulted for further guidance.
Does a brushed seal offer acoustic protection?
No, brushed seals will provide fire and smoke protection. For acoustic protection please see our refer to our range of seals with integrated fins and flippers.
How do I know which door strip to order?
Refer to the test evidence and certification of a door set to identify the correct seals to use.
