The Pyroplex 8980 is a high-performance intumescent fire seal supplied in a 150 metre continuous roll, designed for use on FD30 timber and metal fire door assemblies. Part of the flexible seal range from Pyroplex, this seal provides dependable passive fire protection combined with excellent durability and ease of installation.

When exposed to heat, the intumescent material expands to seal gaps between the door leaf and frame, helping to restrict the spread of fire and hot gases while maintaining effective fire compartmentation. The longer roll length improves installation efficiency, reduces waste, and is ideal for large-scale or repetitive door installations.
