The Dixon Therm-A-Glaze 45 is a slim-profile intumescent glazing seal designed to provide reliable fire protection to glazed apertures in fire-resisting doors and timber screen assemblies. When exposed to high temperatures, the material expands to form a dense char, helping to maintain the integrity of the fire-rated glazing system and limit the spread of fire and hot gases.

Manufactured from a flexible, phosphate-based intumescent compound, Therm-A-Glaze 45 is supplied with a self-adhesive backing for fast and efficient installation into glazing beads or frames. The narrow 10 x 2mm profile makes it ideal for applications where space is limited but fire performance cannot be compromised.
