Fire & Acoustic Seals is proud to announce that its FAS Fire Door Sealant range has achieved Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI) assessed status, which includes becoming the first CCPI-assessed ‘PU Fire Door Foam’ in the UK.
Over recent years, FAS has made significant investments in its fire door sealant range to ensure clarity, quality, and correct specification for the construction industry. This includes the recent change of FAS Fire Door Foam™ from pink to orange, differentiating it from standard pink fire foams available on the market.

What is CCPI?
The Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI) is a UK industry standard established following Dame Judith Hackitt’s independent review after the Grenfell Tower tragedy. Its purpose is to raise standards in the way construction product information is produced and shared, to support greater confidence that it is:
- Clear, unambiguous, and evidence-based
- Accurate and independently assessed
- Accessible, up-to-date, and easy to understand
- Free from misleading claims
