Fire Safety Event 2025 – So good we’re booked on for next year!

We’re still reeling from the excitement of this year’s Fire Safety Event, where we had the incredible opportunity to meet with fellow professionals and enthusiasts in the field of fire safety. The event was not just about showcasing products; it was about connecting with like-minded people in our sector and sharing thoughts and ideas, as well as best practices and knowledge. 

We revelled in meeting new faces and catching up with familiar ones, too and how every discussion reinforced the importance of collaboration and shared knowledge in our efforts to promote fire safety awareness and prevention. 

Our team very much enjoyed these opportunities; Paul Gilbert, our newly appointed Technical Sales Manager, shared some thoughts; 

‘I had a brilliant time at the Fire and Safety Event last week. My first time attending with FAS, and it did not disappoint!   

For me, I found it to be a really successful exhibition that pulled together so many different businesses, whether partners, prospects or competition, we all had safety and responsibility as the primary goal.  

Connecting and reconnecting with some incredibly knowledgeable professionals from across the industry, gaining some valuable insights into their businesses, and we discovered together some really exciting opportunities for future collaborations.      

It was really nice to see so many of our fantastic customers and partners on the stand itself, many of which I hadn’t had the opportunity to meet in person before the show. Showcasing Distribution 

After the success of FAS at FSE24, we wanted to use this year’s show to highlight our key brand partners, whom we are proud to distribute fire critical products for. Chosen because we have synergy in our core values, it was pleasing to have their support on our stand. A big thank you to CCE, Lorient, Pyroplex, Vanquish and UAP for supporting us and playing a huge role in the Fire & Acoustic Seals story. 

FAS Developments Unveiled 

We introduced our brand-new product guide, which has been designed to give an overview of our extensive range of fire safety solutions. This guide reflects our commitment to being a one-stop shop for all fire door installation needs. Whether your project is big or small, we’re here to ensure you have the information, technical resources and product delivered in time to meet your deadlines. 

Attendees also got a glimpse of our innovative FAS Fire Door Sealant Installation course, which will be launching very soon. This course promises to provide invaluable hands-on training, ensuring that participants leave with the skills and knowledge to correctly install our FAS Fire Door Foam™ and FAS Fire Door Intumescent Acrylic Sealants. 

Our goal is to equip professionals with the necessary tools to uphold the highest installation standards, as we understand the importance and support of the correct installation of our fire door sealants. 

Competition  

Our Competition proved popular at the Fire Safety Event, and we witnessed the camaraderie among attendees. We held our “Scan and Guess” competition, where participants had the chance to guess the number of FAS Plastic Packers in a tub. Congratulations to Mark Walsh for winning our DIY Easter Hamper, who guessed 540 – there were actually 536 packers in the box! 

This competition was not only great fun but also instigated many conversations about the use of plastic packers with our FAS Fire Door Sealants – plastic or timber packers is all you need. 

Looking Ahead 

As we reflect on this year’s event, we are filled with gratitude for the connections we forged and the knowledge shared. Thank you to everyone who visited our stand and engaged with us.
