The Dixon Therm-A-Glaze 45 is a high-quality intumescent glazing seal designed to provide effective fire protection around glazed apertures in fire-resisting doors and screens. Furthermore, when exposed to high temperatures, the seal expands rapidly to form a dense insulating char. As a result, it helps to maintain the integrity of the fire-rated assembly and restrict the passage of fire and hot gases.

Manufactured from a flexible, phosphate-based intumescent material, Therm-A-Glaze 45 is supplied with a self-adhesive backing for a quick and straightforward installation into glazing beads or frames. In addition, its slim 15 x 2mm profile makes it ideal where a discreet yet reliable fire-stopping solution is required.
