FAS Ceramic fibre glazing tape is used for various insulating and non-insulating fire-resistant glass used in internal doors and screens.

 

Features & Benefits

  • High-temperature stability up to 1200ºC
  • In conjunction with certain glazing systems, Ceramic Fibre Tape can be used to provide up to 2-hours of fire resistance to the passage of fire
  • Supplied with ‘easy peel’ backing strip for simple installation
  • Tested with a wide range of glass types from industry-leading manufacturers
  • Designed to apply directly to the surface without specialist primers or sealers
  • Easy to wrap, cut and shape
  • Supplied in 10 & 15m rolls based on thickness

 

Areas of Application

  • Use as a bedding material for fire-resistant glazing systems in commercial buildings and fire doors
  • High-temperature gaskets and seals for glazing systems
  • Fire-resistant gaskets for metal partitions
  • Expansion joints
