The Pyroplex 8981 is a high-performance intumescent fire seal supplied in a 100 metre continuous roll, suitable for FD60 timber and metal fire door assemblies. As part of the flexible seal range from Pyroplex, it delivers reliable passive fire protection with a balanced profile size for effective gap sealing.

In the event of a fire, the seal expands to close gaps around the door leaf and frame, helping to limit the spread of fire and hot gases. The continuous roll format is ideal for professional installers and manufacturers seeking efficiency, consistency, and reduced waste.
