Air Transfer Grilles are suitable for use in fire-resisting door sets for up to 60 minutes fire resistance.
In normal use, the system allows air to circulate and move throughout the building. In the event of a fire, the intumescent grilles are designed to close and provide a fire barrier to restrict the passage of hot gases.

Are the sizes of the Air Tranfer Grilles the exact product sizes or the opening cavity sizes?
The dimensions stated correspond with the product. Corresponding cover plates are usually larger to allow adequate air flow through the louvres to the the Air Transfer Grill behind and to allow for fixing positions.
Can all Air Transfer Grilles be used in both walls and doors in internal and external installations?
