A non-ceramic fibre fire-rated glazing tape. It is very simple to use, highly compressible and possesses excellent adhesive properties for glazing materials.
Features & Benefits
- Made from bio-soluble alkaline earth silicate fibres which give a smooth surface finish.
- High insulative properties and excellent resistance to thermal erosion.
- Lightweight and has excellent chemical stability.
- Highly insulating thermal behaviour with a very low thermal conductivity.
- The black colour of the product allows for a superior professional glazed finish.
- Offers thermal stability up to 1200°C.
Areas of Applications/Use
Suitable for indoor applications only. Can be used in either timber, steel or aluminium fire-rated glazing systems
Fire Rating & Testing
Achieved successful fire performance to both BS and EN Standards
Guarantee/Shelf Life
12 months self-adhesive tape (Intumescent does not have an expiry date)
Storage & H&S guidance
Avoid extremes of temperature and humidity, ideally, store between 15°C and 23°C
