STS Intumescent Fire, Smoke and Acoustic Strips
Sealed Tight Solutions SBS' intumescent strips feature a high-tack self-adhesive backing, making them extremely easy to cut, fit, and install. The side blade will protect against the passage of smoke, as well as a 41db acoustic seal.
Features:
- High-Tack Self-Adhesive Backing: Ensures easy application; simply cut to fit
- Standard Profile Dimensions: 10mm x 4mm
- Standard Length: 2100mm
- Tested to BS 8214 - 2008, BS EN 1634 - 1: 2008 and BS EN 1634 - 3: 2004
- Once installed, the exposed surface of the seal may, if required, be painted over (Do not paint the flexible elements - fins/brushes)
- Fully compliant with BS 476 Part 22.
Tested across various door configurations:
- Single Leaf/Single Action: Latched and unlatched
- Single Leaf/Double Action: Latched and unlatched
- Double Leaf/Single Action: Latched and unlatched
- Double Leaf/Double Action: Latched and unlatched
