LAS4012 Lorient Aluminium Threshold Plate - 2.1m

The Lorient LAS4012 Aluminium Threshold Plate - 2.1m is a low-profile aluminium threshold plate designed to provide an even surface underneath doors and is suitable for wheeled traffic.

The LAS4012 has a 125mm profile width and is only 6mm high, providing a low-profile threshold solution. It features a silver anodised aluminium finish as standard and is supplied with fixing screws.

The threshold plate can contribute towards smoke, weather, draught and light containment when fitted with a suitable threshold seal. It can also increase the effectiveness of threshold seals by creating a firmer gasket contact.

The LAS4012 is suitable for use with practically any drop or door bottom seal and can be installed on single and double swing doors. Standard lengths are 1m and 2.1m, with other lengths available to special order.

Fire Performance & Certification

The Lorient system specifications provide fire test evidence to BS EN 1634-1:2014+A1:2018 for LAS4011 FD30 & FD60. The supplied documentation does not state that this specific fire test evidence applies to LAS4012. 

The LAS4012 can contribute towards smoke containment when fitted with a suitable threshold seal, alongside weather, draught and light containment. 

The supplied documentation also shows UL Classified certification R27972 for the threshold plate range.
