The Lorient LAS9070 SI Finger Guard Seal is a medium-duty finger guard designed for the hinge cavity side of hinged doors. It forms part of a finger protection system that helps shield fingers from being trapped in hinge gaps. For a complete system, it is designed to be used in conjunction with the LAS9050 SI on the hinge knuckle side.

Fire Performance & Certification

• The LAS9070 SI forms part of the Lorient finger guard seal system that has test evidence to BS 8613:2017 (Finger protection devices for pedestrian doors – Type A, Class 1).

• Note: This is a finger protection seal and is not promoted as a fire-rated seal on its own. For fire performance, additional fire, smoke and acoustic sealing products should be specified separately where required.
