QF2 Fire Protection Compound – 4 Hour Fire-Rated Seal

QF2 Fire Protection Compound is a non-combustible fire-stopping solution designed for sealing service penetrations in fire compartment floors and walls. Suitable for cables, ducts and pipework, this compound is mixed on site with water and applied to form a rigid, load-bearing fire seal.

Manufactured from lightweight graded fire-resisting aggregates, organic binders and high-quality gypsum cements, QF2 delivers excellent fire resistance, strength and workability. The compound expands slightly during curing (0.1%), ensuring a tight and effective seal that can accommodate additional service penetrations without damage.

QF2 can be applied to both floors and walls and is suitable for use in concrete floors, hollow core slabs and steel profiled deck floor systems. Once cured, it provides a durable, fire-rated and load-bearing seal.
