QuelCoil Intuwrap - 25 Metre Fire Protection Roll

QuelCoil Intuwrap comes as a 25-metre-long roll of intumescent material, measuring 50mm x 2mm. Each box includes a roll of self-adhesive fibre-reinforced tape for securing the wrap-around services.

Application: The QuelCoil Intuwrap is extremely versatile and easily cut to the required length on site to fit various pipe diameters and materials. It can be applied around insulated non-combustible pipes as well as combustible plastic pipes. The number of layers needed ranges from 1 to 6, depending on the outside diameter of the pipe or the thickness of the insulation.

Installation Guidelines:

• Install directly into solid masonry walls and fire-rated plasterboard partitions.
• Wrap the QuelCoil around the services, ensuring no gaps are present after installation.
• Accurate drilling is essential to accommodate the necessary layers around the pipes.
• For oversized holes, combine with the QuelStop Fire Batt system, ensuring full backfilling with QF2 Fire Protection Compound where necessary.
